Hello all.  I found a dream of a Jeep a few months back and I love the little rig.  Its a 1969 Jeepster Commando.  It's in amazing shape with 94000 miles and its in great running order with very little rust and thats just little spots here and there not the sides floor boards etc that jeepsters are so bad about.  But I have hit some very bad times now with the Economic Recession we are going into and I need to eat more than I need a Jeep.  It has a new Carb, I just went over the 4x4 and changed fluids put a new lever on the 4x4 and new locking hubs.  It has a th400 transmission thats about new, the body is straight, I had it converted to Dual Exhaust so half of it is brand new, There is very little that needs to be done to it to make it ready for the trail or even a daily driver for the Old School guys.  with the new carb I got 18mpg the other day.  I have driven it 1200 miles in the last month and its done just great.  But i'm asking $2750 for it.  OR BEST OFFER.  But it would be a great rig for any Jeep nut out there.  It has a Hard top with all the glass intact, its Yeller it has the original orange and green trimmed hub caps and insignia.  It has the 225 V6 Buick Dauntless Engine.  I got it stuck in the mud in 2 wheel the other day at a job site.  jumped out locked her up slid it into 4x4 and Bam out I came.

Oh Yeah it has the under dash AC its unhooked now cause it was in the way of my foot and I havent fooled with it but its all there and the compressor is still under the hood.  so with some work Im sure it would be up and running.  From what I remember with JC Whitney these are about $800 so thats a nice thing to have or to sale.
